ENJOY A GOOD BOOK AT A BOISE PUBLIC LIBRARY BOOK CLUB
If you love books, then you’ll find a great book at a Boise Public Library book club. Keep on reading below to find an event that fits your preferences and schedule.
Comic Book Club
The Comic Book Club is the place to be if you’re a fan of graphic novels. You can join a group of likeminded adults at the Spacebar Arcade on Thursday, May 11th for a slice of pizza and a brew. From 6pm to 6:45pm, attendees will be discussing Fables Vol 1, Southern Bastards Vol 1, and The Watchmen.
Never Grow Up Book Club
You don’t have to be “young” to enjoy Young Adult (YA) novels. You can enjoy an adult beverage at Bodovino on Wednesday, May 17th, from 6:15pm to 7pm while being surrounded by fellow fans at the Never Grow Up Book Club.
Books & Brews
You’ll find fellow readers at Highlands Hollow Brewhouse on the second Monday of every month at the Books & Brews book club. Gather around at 7pm to sip on a cold one while discussing what you’re reading.
Book Club for Adults
If you head over to the Library! at Hillcrest, you can attend the monthly Book Club for Adults. Each month, a new book is chosen and read. On Wednesday, May 31st, from 7pm to 8:30pm, attendees will be discussing Homegoing, by Yaa Gyasi.
Reading Allowed: One Paige at a Time
For a unique experience, the Reading Allowed: One Paige at a Time involves listening to a story read by a librarian. For listeners who need something to keep busy, drawing materials and a “tinker” table will be available. This book club is held every third Friday of the month.
Even if you don’t find a Boise Public Library book club that’s the perfect fit for you, you’ll find a great book to enjoy with a visit to the library.
