Celebrate Idaho Wine Month at the third annual kickoff party hosted by Juniper at Freak Alley on Wednesday, May 31st. Lovers of vino will want to celebrate this month dedicated to encouraging you to drink local.
The Start of Something Good
There’s no better way to enjoy Idaho Wine Month than by joining with fellow enthusiasts at the kickoff event.
Attendees will enter through Juniper to access the event at Freak Alley. Tickets are $15, with $5 donated to the Idaho Wine Scholarship Fund. Indian Creek Winery, Telaya Wine Co, Vizcaya Winery, and Williamson Orchard and Vineyard will be on hand to pour samples.
How to Celebrate Idaho Wine Month
Governor Butch Otter designated June as Idaho Wine Month in 2009 to support local winemakers. During the month of June, there will be numerous specials offered at local retailers and restaurants.

Vizcaya Fathers Day Car Show & Concert
June 16th to June 18th from 12pm to 6pm
Dad will love the chance to taste delicious wine while checking out the car show. Bring your own wheels if you want to show them off!
Celebrate the Vine – Williamson Vineyards
June 17th from 12pm to 5pm
Join in the revelry for the opening of the Sunnyslope Wine Trail and Idaho Wine Month! You’ll also be a part of the festivities for the introduction of the Dry Rosé of Syrah and the newest release of a Reserve Petite Sirah.
2017 Idaho Wine Run Summer Nights
June 3rd from 6pm to 9pm
Indian Creek Winery hosts this night run for its second year. Sip on local wines and listen to live music after your run!
Even if you don’t make it out to a local event, don’t forget that the best way to celebrate Idaho Wine Month is by enjoying a glass of Idaho wine at home or at a restaurant!
